4 Ways to Vital Life, Personal Power & Fulfillment!

Dear cherished reader,

Everything in this Universe is energy. Everyday, we begin with a specific amount energy, and the activities we undertake determine whether we end the day with a deficit or surplus. Needless to say, personal power, manifestation of goals and achieving material success, depends largely on how much energy we have, and how accurately we can direct our energy onto these goals.

No 2 persons have the same birth charts, family backgrounds, and characteristics. But everybody on earth has 24 hours a day. What you do in these 24 hours determine your energy balance sheet. Here are 4 ways to have a surplus at the end of your day:

1. Eat a lot of living foods – in the form of smoothies, juices. Smoothies and Juices are the most convenient way to pack large amounts of living produces into the diet. Your cells are programmed to receive cosmic energy as long as they are treated well. By feeding them first class living foods, they will not only generate energy for healing, but also extraordinary brain performance. 2 Juices and 1 Smoothie a day will do the job!

2. Practice Pranayama, Chi gong, Tai Chi or any breath works for at least 30 minutes a day. Prana is life force; in other words our Breath network. The stronger, clearer your Breath network, the more energy you will have, and the stronger your immunity against negative influences (which can range from bacteria to depressed people!) 

3. Invest your time wisely. Every action you take, including selecting which friends to meet, IS an energy investment. The net profit of loss of each energy investment is the result of your investment. Some people powers you up with good positive vibrations and moods; some people drains you. Choose wisely!

 4. Meditate and pray daily. You are not an accident, neither am I. We are all magnificent creations of Divine Source. So in this human ‘matrix’, take daily time off to reconnect with Divine. You need to ‘go home’ daily. During meditation, various physiological processes take place, including restoring of hormones and adrenals. Your brain thinks better, and your perspectives widen. Think wisdom and fast response. You can save years of mistakes in a matter of months or days. Meditation need not be complicated. Simply sit in a comfortable crossed legged position (or on a chair with feet planted firmly on the floor), close your eyes and focus on the breath. Do that for 20 breaths or more.

Inner Balance is Key for Well-being!

Have you ever seen a father kissing his child tenderly before? Or a mother demonstrating extraordinary strength in protecting her child from danger?

In that instant, you witness an unfolding of a masculine feminine that is close to perfection. So much beauty in a single moment, and time seems to stand still.

In Yoga, we strive towards a balance between our masculine feminine forces. Yin and Yang, strength and flexibility, intellect and intuition. When the divine masculine is united and balanced with the divine feminine, you have a force to manifest things. Power, in both the measurable material sense and spiritual sense, is at your disposal.

What to do with this power? It is then up to you to decide. Whether to use for the greater good, like us (and many others we know) blazing the way for spiritual cultivation in a concrete jungle; or some may choose to use it in a skewed way. Either way there would be an occurrence of karmic assets or liabilities.

Juice your Way to Health!

Dear lovelies,

Did you noticed the number of people falling ill lately has increased? Blame it on the haze, or the ever increasing amount of construction in Singapore.

We observed, with a tint of smugness, that the percentage of our Light Love Laughter Community falling sick is LOWER. Most of us remain in good health, and those who do get sore throat or headiness recover within a day. Hooray!

Here is a quick-remedy juice recipe to protect yourself from the virus outside:

*2 Green Starfuits
*2 Green Apples
*2 inch piece of fresh old ginger
*4 Stalks Celery
*1 Lemon

Add a pinch of sea salt to the juice and drink immediately after juicing! 

The great thing about living foods is that there isn’t really any ‘side effects’ because they are after all, food!

So go ahead and buy the ingredients in bulk, drink up to 3 times a day if possible during this hazy period. (We even add wheatgrass in sometimes!)

1. When taking showers, simply raise your leg and wash your toes conveniently. So you avoid having to bend over and get water dripped into your ears and nose.

2. When you are on the bus and it suddenly brakes, everybody reaches out in panic for the hand rails. But YOU remain steady, looking so cool and composed. You might just catch that cute guy’s or girl’s gaze.

3. When taking the lift, and your arms are full, simply lift your leg and press the lift button with your big toe. So you don’t have to put anything down and risk dirtying your stuff.

4. When walking on an outdoor stretch with heavy construction and lots of air pollution, you could hold your breath until you walk past that area effortlessly. So you end up breathing in less chemicals. Definitely less nose dirt!

5. If you are a single girl, you would have younger guys hitting on you because you grow younger as you age. If you are a guy, you would have young girls paying you attention because girls love mature men who talk spiritual. Its a sexy trait!

1. Place ingredients in a blender, together with water from the soak, and blend until you get a thick chunky mixture. Add a little bit more of water just enough to move the blades.

3. After washing and drying your face, apply a generous layer of the mask all over, and lie down for 20 minutes. Rinse off and pat dry gently. Follow up with your favourite moisturisers (optional).

Desserts are everybody’s favorite when it comes to celebrations and parties. They just make people happier. Try out the following powerlicious recipe to marry taste, health and fun! 

Prep time: 15 Minutes Yield: Makes 20 medium sized balls

1 Cup Dates
1 Cup Walnuts
1/3 Cup Tahini
1/2 Cup Ground Flax
3 Tbsp Coconut Oil
1 Tbs Cacao Powder
1 Tbs Maca
1 Tbs Lucuma
1 drop Mint Oil (Food Grade)
½ Cup Cacao Nibs

*Stand by a cup of warm water to move the blades if required in adjusting consistency.

1. Place all ingredients in your food processor and process until a dough is formed.
2. Form into 1 inch balls and roll in cacao nibs.
3. Keeps in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
